The notion of terroir is a passion for me: it’s something I was taught about by a great mentor, have written about, and have debated with peers. 2023 marks my tenth vintage at Star Lane Vineyard and Dierberg Vineyard and it feels good to come ‘home’ and shed a light on the terroir of this family estate.
